From orthopaedics to diabetes, the J & A investment
portfolio is diverse, very select and encompasses two main
activities.
First, J & A researches and invests in small, medium or
large-cap medical device or medical technology companies. Second,
while most of our investments focus on publicly held entities, J
& A, in an exclusive arrangement with Warburg Pincus LLC,
aggressively researches and may co-invest with Warburg in private
sector companies or corporate spin-offs.
About the President
Mr. Treace is the former President of Medtronic Xomed (MDT), in
Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to its acquisition by Medtronic, Inc.,
in November 1999, Mr. Treace served as CEO, President and Chairman
of the Board of Xomed Surgical Products, Inc.
